4 suits of the Waite tarot deck, held by a ghostly hand?
Elemental Self-Counselling.
~
I feel exhausted and dead to life,
must be in my Crucible's wrath;
sealed to the world in suffocation,
in Metalmorphic transformation.
~
Five earthen senses into our Worth;
the Spirit in water to be rebirthed;
words rearranged into our Destiny;
a sprig from Heaven's eternal Tree.
~
Observe the turmoil in detachment,
as Death devours old attachments;
matter de-objectifies, de-energizes,
in the Mirror as my ego crucifies!
~
Salt of the earth stings as it heals,
the id refines into Ash for a Grail;
water diStills into Myst, then Wine;
air catches into Bread of the Sun.
~
Behold, an archetypal divination,
elements trumped by a visitation:
a Hanged Man upon Adam's Tree,
in the Burning Bush shining free.
~
The golden Coin of our true Value;
a Dove of Spirit condensing Dew;
the Ideal of an immaculate SWord;
magic innocence of a starry Wand.

Elemental self-counselling incorporates all four suits of the Tarot,
which are the lower languages we all speak. When we die to our
worldly ways we make space for higher Images (Arcana) of who we
are, to flash down and trump the elements. To some degree we have
to act-out any unresolved instincts in order to see them, but in a way
that doesn't blame or hurt others or us. We also have to feel whatever
emotions are brewing under the surface of awareness, in order to
release any trapped energy by way of catharsis. Understanding the
chaos of how we feel usually comes towards the end of the ordeal,
as we work through, embrace, think about and creatively express it.
This mysterious process of sublimation finally clears, allowing one
of the higher Images or Archetypes to coalesce in the mind.
