The Volatility of Consciousness.

The Volatility of Consciousness!

Libidinal power of airy thinking
conquers the earth for human beings;
water rises in emotional waves;
fiery passion turns ego to flames.
~
Animals can't think, are enslaved,
to instinctual patterns must behave.
We can break this spell of nature,
transcend the world by crossing over.
~
Sublimated libido starts to burn,
into a kundalini serpent turns;
magical dragon forges a Pearl,
fire into Light of a Sol like Soul.
~
Instinctual beast, earth to wind,
back to Heaven wants to transcend;
tames emotions of watery desire,
lights the element of secret fire.
~
In self immolation Spirit burns,
mortido, the death wish blackens!
The Phoenix ignites into Ashes, 
Agni, the Lord of fire, detonates!

Libido's spark, "Seed of the Word",
Orphic Egg into fire-snake emerged.
Volatility of consciousness implodes:
Sol Niger, the Black Sun to behold!

Fire now takes on a life of its own,
devours the ego who got it going;
only gods can survive the blaze,
the shining Ones eternally saved.

The Stone Everlasting,

and Secret of the Spiral.

Elemental identification serves us well,

until we feel ourselves to be in hell;

Spirit enfolds itself deep into the mud,

trying to solidify its quantum Mind.

Up till now the wrong way was right,

the rock-at-bottom holds an insight.

Prometheus, chained to matter, ignites!

We change direction to follow our spirit.

Earth, water, air, and now fire dragon,

eternal energy reverses its direction;

refines id to Salt, diStills water to Wine,

my ideas immolate in order to Shine!

Life to death into eternal Life reBorn,

the Peach is an everlasting Stone;

spirit into Spiritus fleshing a Soul,

the alchemical Mind solidifies Gold!

The Spirit encoils itself deep into time,

creating spiral tension in the mind;

leaving a trail to find the way back,

nirvanic Extinguishment ends the wick!

So, the Black Hole is pulling us down,

into the Underworld of Hades' ground;

the fire is our Lucifer's fallen Light,

an Alien returning through a StarGate.

Why do I feel this deathly embrace?

Libido to mortido by way of celibacy.

Energy rises into pure, seminal Power,

immoral id into an immortal Observer.

This "ClOuD of Unknowing" suffocates,

baptizes elements into eternal Metals:

Dust to Ashes and Myst into Spiritus,

Flour takes on the Ideal Form of Flesh!

I found this in a charity shop around the time I started this book.

For two years I had no idea what it was, until a week ago when

 someone mentioned Shou Lao, the Star-god of eternal life, 

with beard of longevity, bulbous head of wisdom, 

bat of good fortune and Peach of immortality.
